Change Your Smile With Invisible Braces

Invisible braces have helped countless people around the world achieve the smile they were always dreaming of. Here at Colin Osborne, III in Lumberton, NC, Dr. Colin Osborne, offers ClearCorrect invisible braces for giving our patients the best smile of their life. But what is ClearCorrect? How can it transform your smile and is it right for you?

ClearCorrect Invisible Braces: What It Is and How It Works

If you are one of those people who are unhappy or unsatisfied with their smile but don’t qualify for traditional orthodontics, invisible braces just might be the solution for you. Besides looking better, straight teeth also function better, while misaligned teeth could negatively affect your bite function, are more susceptible to dental problems, and usually wear out quicker than perfectly aligned teeth.

ClearCorrect effectively straightens teeth by utilizing a series of custom-made, removable, and nearly clear plastic aligners made to move teeth gradually. Over time, it corrects misalignment to give you that perfectly straight smile. This invisible braces system entails four stages, with each stage requiring new aligners that must be worn for two to three weeks. The time in between each stage provides enhanced flexibility and control.

During treatment, you’ll have to wear your aligners almost all the time and only take them off when eating and doing your oral hygiene routine. Generally speaking, you should wear them for at least 22 hours every day and check-in with your dentist in Lumberton, NC, for scheduled visits as you go through each stage of your invisible braces treatment plan. In most cases, patients see visible straightening results by their second or third set of aligners.

ClearCorrect Invisible Braces: Who’s a Good Candidate?

Currently, ClearCorrect is only available for teens and adults and can be utilized for correcting mild to moderate cases of these orthodontic conditions:

  • Rotated or crooked teeth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Underbites
  • Overbites
  • Spacing between teeth

Kids whose molars still haven’t erupted and older adults who have more complex cases might not be eligible for ClearCorrect aligners. Speak to your dentist to find out whether you can benefit from ClearCorrect.
